Anything is possible if you do not give up. Is there something in your life that seems impossible? Have people told you that your 2017 goal or resolution is impossible? If Walt Disney didn’t have a dream then he would not have accomplished what he did in his lifetime.

I remember years ago setting a financial goal and several people told us that our goal was impossible. This spurred us that much more to move forward eating beans and rice, and peanut butter and jelly in order to reach that goal. What are your goals for 2017?

How do I reach my goals?

1. Take baby steps~ If it is financial, write down your debts – smallest to largest. Attack the small one. If health related write down your health goals and seek advice from a health coach or someone to keep you accountable.
2. Make new habits~Instead of going to Starbucks daily or weekly, try to make your own coffee at home to save money. If your goal is to achieve optimal health then choose water the rest of the day instead of soda.
3. Enjoy the progress~notice your progress, after several weeks of hard work, take time to reflect and be grateful for it!

Don’t give up! If people say that you can’t, then you say that you can! Believe in yourself, because anything is possible.

I was reminded of this recently when my family and I went to Walt Disney World. In our room was this quote: It’s kind of fun to do the Impossible ~Walt Disney

Walt had a dream and he didn’t give up! He had to take baby steps to dream up this mouse character and it didn’t happen overnight. He had to make a new habit of drawing and imagining. He enjoyed his progress when he came up with SteamBoat Willie and then continued dreaming up more characters and with the help of his wife and other people in his life led him to Mickey Mouse the icon of a VERY large entertainment industry. You never know what will happen! The sky is the limit, anything is possible if you do not give up!
