Do Seasonal Threats have you sniffling?

Spring is in the air. Are you struggling with environmental threats? Here are some suggestions on natural ways to overcome them.

  1. Drink plenty of water
  2. Use Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint  essential oils either in a capsule OR rub them on the back of your neck and down the jawline. You will need to repeat this every 2-4 hours.
  3. Add 1 drop of Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint to a diffuser necklace. One of my daughters wears a diffuser necklace and she is able to make it through the day at school with it until coming home.
  4. Try a product called TriEase that contains these 3 essential oils already together.
  5. Take a high quality probiotic. We love dōTERRA’s PB Assist+
  6. Stress less-find ways to relax and practice self care.
  7. If the lemon, lavender, & peppermint combo is not strong enough for you, then try 2-5 drops each of Melaleuca, Cilantro & Lavender as a shooter, in a cappy or applied topically to bottoms of your feet.
  8. White fir may be applied over sinuses, Digestzen on tummy and over sinuses, and Breathe oil on chest. (Don’t forget to dilute with a carrier oil)

 

Since over 70 percent of our immune system is located in our gut we should plan to boost our gut health by either taking probiotics, eating kimchi, sauerkraut and partaking in other fermented foods and drink to support gut health.

 

Stress plays a key role in our health. This is why I suggested taking time out for yourself and learn to relax and go for a walk, read a book, enjoy time in a warm bath to renew yourself so that will be ready to deal with whatever comes your way.
