Apple Pie Salad

Apple Pie Salad could be a snack, dessert or even a meal. There are times when this is what we crave, especially in the fall when apples are in season. Enjoy this yummy treat!

Apple Pie Salad Recipe
INGREDIENTS:

4 apples, diced

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1 tsp cinnamon 

1/2 tsp allspice

1/4 cup Grade B maple syrup

1/2 cup organic raisins

1/2 cup organic oats

1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt

1 tsp lemon juice

You may serve this as a salad by mixing all ingredients in a bowl or add the following crust to the bottom of a plate.

 

Crust

2 cups walnuts

5 Medjool dates

1/2 tsp vanilla-no alcohol or 1/2 ground fresh vanilla bean 

 

Blend in a food processor and pat in square pan. Add Apple Pie Salad on the top.
