INGREDIENTS:

1 bunch or 2 smaller bunches of kale

1/2 cup nutritional yeast

1/4 cup lemon juice

3 T garlic powder

1 T paprika

1 dash of salt

1 T cashew butter

1 dash cayenne

2 dashes red pepper flakes

Tear the kale into small pieces, wash in a colander and spin dry.

Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well or into a blender until garlic is crushed and incorporated.

Smear the thick paste onto the kale leaves by massaging it in with your hands. Place on dehydrator trays in single pieces not overlapping and dehydrate until dry which is about 3 hours.

Store in a airtight bowl. Re-dehydrate if you feel that moisture is occurring. These normally don’t last longer than a day at our house. Yum!
