Imagine all of these in 1 drink! I always say to eat your fruit and drink your veggies. To add a hint of tart and sweetness we threw in a few green apples because the sugar content is LOW with green apples. Typically, I don’t like to juice a lot of fruit because of the high sugar content. Cleaning yourself out this time of year is amazing after the Christmas holidays. Why not add green juice to your diet?
Green Lemonade Juice Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 bunch of kale**
1-2 cucumbers (pictured is English cucumber)
2-inches of ginger
1 bunch of celery
4 Granny Smith apples
Lemons-separate
Wash all produce.
Juice all of these ingredients except the lemons. In each cup I squeeze 1/2 to 1 lemon into the cup.
**TIP: Lacinato kale is easiest to juice
This makes about 8 servings. If doing a juice fast, place in 8-oz glass containers and drink 1 every hour.
Remember your body can only assimilate 1- 8 oz cup of juice an hour.
