Eye make-up remover can be expensive! I can go through a bottle in about three weeks time.

I’m always searching for ways to save money AND use fewer, more natural ingredients in products. I was purchasing a small bottle of eye make-up remover for $6.99, and once I looked at the ingredients, I challenged myself to make an all-natural product that not only efficiently removes make-up, but also is healthy for my skin. I set on a mission to find a mixture that is simple to make also. I went through several recipes and adapted this one to our liking. My girls and I really enjoy it, and I hope you do too!

2 T Witch Hazel

2 T Almond Or Jojoba oil

3 T Water-reverse osmosis, distilled etc.

Add all ingredients to a container. I use my old eye make-up remover containers.

Shake well prior to each use.

With a small cotton pad, wipe eye area clean with your new remover. I use a q-tip for stubborn eye liner.

Be gentle with your eyelashes!

Final cost estimate = 60 cents per bottle.
