Roasted Brussel Sprouts

This recipe is SUPER easy! I went to the store to purchase some of these and my child says, “Mom I LOVE those!” Ok…yes, my kids REALLY do like these. They have grown up eating them. I remember eating the slimy kind that my mom boiled. That wasn’t a good experience BUT as I’ve gotten older I realize the value in eating my greens so we found a FABULOUS way to make them!

Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe
INGREDIENTS:

Brussel Sprouts

Red onion

Grapeseed oil (or whatever oil that you cook with)

Walnuts or pecans

 

Wash all of the Brussel Sprouts. Trim off the ends of each one and halve them. Place them in a pan. Cut the red onion up in squares and add to the Brussel Sprouts. Add a bit of oil to lightly cover. Bake at 400 for 20-30 minutes or until lightly brown. Enjoy!
